FACILITY
Mississippi Steel Processing’s facility includes 114,000 sf of master coil storage, 151,000 sf of finished goods storage, and 7,200 sf of office space. A major expansion in 2014 increased our original facility by 67 percent and also added significant new processing capacity to shorten lead times and handle heavier gauge material.
Our facility also features:
- Indoor rail spur that accommodates five railcars
- Twelve paved truck bays and two covered truck tarping areas
- Thirteen overhead cranes, including four 50-ton cranes for master coils
Our processing equipment consists of:
- Two slitting lines that span 0.017″ to 0.625″ thick and up to 72″ wide
- A slit coil packaging line for coils up to 10,000 pounds
